A grand and inspiring event titled “Tree Mother” was organized today at the campus of Shri Davara University. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Shri Chandulal Sahu, Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation, as the Chief Guest. Along with him, Shri Krishna Kumar, popularly known as Chhattisgarh’s “Haryali Didi,” and several other distinguished guests attended the program and added to its significance.
The highlight of the program was the unique plantation ceremony, where Hon’ble Shri Chandulal Sahu and all respected guests planted saplings in the university premises, each one dedicated to their mothers. This meaningful gesture brought an emotional and inspirational touch to the entire event.

Importance of greenery and sustainable living
They encouraged students to adopt plant care as a personal responsibility and emphasized the role of youth in preserving nature.
